In the Aftermath of Mankind
It is life, time for breathing deep, sighs and touching without fingers. Hummingbirds whizzing by my ears, the striking fear of that buzzing sound, so large and loud. Only they can scare me.
A Beautiful Mind is a Simple Mind!!
In the movie ?A Beautiful Mind? John Nash (played by Russell Crowe) is a
schizophrenic math genius who struggles with is inability to have peace of mind. In one scene he bangs his head on the window until it bleeds, begging his mind to slow down, all the while having a conversation with his imaginary roommate, Charles.
Jesus wants A Few Good Men! Living A Life You Always Wanted!
Jack Nicholson (Col. Jessup) (marine cornel)
YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH ?.Son, we live a world
that has walls and those walls have to be guarded
by men with guns. Whose gonna do it? You? You, Lt.
Weinburg? I have more responsibility here than you
could possibly fathom. You curse the marines. You
have that luxury. You have that luxury of not
knowing what I know. And that my existence as
grotesque and incomprehensible to you, saves
lives. I know down deep in places you don't want
to talk about, you don't want me on that wall, you
need me on that wall. We use words like HONOR,
CODE, and LOYALTY. We use these words as the very
backbone of a life spent defending something. You
use them as a punch line. I have neither the time
nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who
rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very
freedom I provide. I prefer you to just say thank
you and go on your way. Otherwise, I suggest you
pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I
don't give a crap what you think you are entitled
to!" (end of scene)
Angels Amoung US - We Reap What We Sow!
John Eldredge writes in his book Waking the Dead,
"God what do you have for my heart today?" He

Building the Bridge of LOVE - Dont You Think Its time?
One of the saddest times in any child's life is
when for some reason they think one or both or
their parents are going to be taken from them. In
the mid-nineties on one of their tours Naomi Judd
announced to the world that she had hepatitis and
would retire from the country music business.
Leaving her daughter Wynonna to sing on her own for
the first time in her life.
Lance Armstrong had it Right-- Every Second Does Counts!
I have been counseling people on weight loss, exercise efficiency and nutrition for over twenty years. Every time I go to the gym I observe people, their training tactics and their workout habits. Over the last few years I have noticed something about certain people in the gym that has been interesting. You would think more people would do this but they don?t. What I have noticed is certain people have a habit or process they go through when they workout that most do not. What is interesting is, before I even realize that they do it, I can tell by the way their bodies look that they have this habit. They are leaner, healthier looking, and stronger than most.
Failure Is Never As Painful As Regret!
"I would rather regret some of my failures in life
than to live my life failing to forget my
First Things First-- Balancing Your Priorities!
I'm not sure Paul had the Japanese culture in mind
at the time when he writes, "Seek ye first the
Kingdom of God and all other things will be added
unto you." I'm not sure how much popularity the
bible has in Japan today either. Yet, it seems as
though the Japanese people have at least one
biblical principle figured out. In the book,
"First Things First", Steven Covey helps us
understand how and why the Japanese people think
how they do and accomplish so much more than
American's in a same twenty-four hour period.
Covey explains, that we can divide all our daily
tasks into two main areas of our lives. One area
is the Important/Urgent-NOT Urgent area and the
second consists of tasks in the NOT Important/NOT
Gilligan Finds Jesus!
One day Gilligan ventures off as usual into the
jungle. After a few hours the Skipper knows
Gilligan's absent-minded behavior, gets a little
worried and goes trotting off looking for him.
After a while the Skipper hears Gilligan's squeaky
voice in the distance yelling, "SKIPPER, SKIPPER,
Life is like Golf
In the golfing world, yesterday may have been one
of the most exciting and long awaited days in the
sports history. "The Masters" golf tournament is
the most prestigious championships in all of golf,
but no more important than to the man that won it.
As he walked up the eightieth fairway, I couldn't
help but wonder what was going through his mind.
You see, Phil Mickelson was known as the best
golfer in the world who never won a major
championship. In forty-seven tries he placed in
the top ten eight times and three of them were
previously placing third in The Masters, yet he
never could win the big one. He developed a
reputation of choking in the last rounds never
able to finish on top of the leaderboard.
God?s Eyes- If These Four Walls Could Talk?
Can you imagine being sent out into the wilderness
for forty years like Moses? If Moses would have
lived his life up until then differently would God
have spared him the discomfort? Was God trying to
prove some point to Moses by making an example of
him? What can we learn about this story?
Loving People In Spite Of Them, Not Because Of Them!
Before the movie "Finding Nemo", came out Steve
Jobs the founder of the Apple Computer company
spent millions of dollars promoting it. Before a
major push on merchandise Nike will sign a multi-
million dollar contract with some sports star.
Sometime soon you will see a major player in the
clothing industry hire a celebrity to promote
their product before the holiday rush. These
companies think they have it figured out. How do
they attract you to the product or service they
are selling? The packaging!!
Inner-Tubing With God: Understanding Gods Ways
It is so obvious that God works and thinks on a
totally different level than we do. I have spent
most of my life in my left logical side of my
brain trying to figure out God, people, events and
reason. Only to be left frustrated, irritated and
Jesus the Great Teacher --Lessons Learned!
I don't know of anyone who really liked taking
tests in school if you did there is something
seriously wrong with you. It just seemed as
though some breezed through while people like
myself always struggled. Life is not fair!!!! Some
call it tests anxiety. I think I just concentrated
on trying not to get the answer wrong instead of
relaxing and allowing my brain to find the answer
in my head. Most times the next day I could do
better because of no pressure. Second golf shots
are like that too! So when I received my test
scores back all I noticed were the red marks and
disappointments instead of how many right answers
I had out of one hundred. Having said that,
perfect test scores were few and far between for
most of us I think.
Let Go Of My EgGO--Pride Cometh Before A Fall!
Years ago a commercial ran for eggo waffles. It
showed two small children grabbing an eggo waffle
popping out of the toaster, yelling, "Let go of my
eggo!!" We didn't see what transpired between the
two, yet I have to believe one of two things
happened; one of the children would have given in
and let go or the waffle would have been torn in
to small pieces.

My Experience with Spiritual Healing
Healing is a special gift that any human being can have. It is fortunate that we are provided with the opportunity to acknowledge and develop it. There is no difference from any human being performing healing and Christ healing. The only difference is if you belong to a large institution like a Catholic church where healing is sometimes defined as a miracle. Many great healers came into our plane and performed their miracles, such as Edward Cayce, Harry Edwards and many others known and unknown to us. The good part of it is that we are all healers. The only difference between a full pledged healer and any one of us is very simple. A healer is a human being who has dedicated his or her life in order to help humanity and to show us that we are not alone, by becoming a channel for the spirit to do their work. Many powers are beyond our sense of understanding or belief system. If this is your path in this lifetime then this will become part of your life because you have already been chosen for that path.
Psychic Vampires, and How to Cope with Them!
Forget what you have read or seen about vampires. The old image of count Dracula, or even his modern contempories is not what we are going to talk about here. No.
A Short Journey to Your Divine Self
By invoking an external God to whom we look for help we often lose sight of the fact that we have within us the very power that we seek in such an external force. Now of course I don't just expect you to believe this in the way that religions of the world expect you to believe the converse. Instead I hope to convey here a short but simple exercise that you can do at your leisure to find this very power within yourself. This power emerges from what I call the Divine Self. What is this Self? Well, it's You! Yes, You!
The Power of God?s Word in Your Prayer Life
Prayer. It's the foundation of a Christian mom's life. Why? Because as moms, we are one of the most influential people in our children's lives. (The other, equally influential person is their father, of course.) For good or bad, what we say and do to our children affects their self-esteem, their choice of a future spouse, their occupation, and their positive (or negative) outlook on life.
CEROMANCY: The Fine Art of Candle Reading
Lately, I have been asked a lot of questions in the Psychic Realm chatroom about "ceromancy". That is the fine art of reading a situation by studying the way a candle burns. Are the flames leaping high? Is the wax sizzling and crackling and popping? What does it mean when the flame goes out?

Affirmations for Emotional Hygiene
Last week I talked about the need to practice emotional hygiene, that is -- emptying your head of all toxic emotions such as jealousy, resentment, envy in order to create a kind of "blank slate." You need to clean your conscious mind of these emotions so that you can use the power of your subconscious mind to manifest more positive events in your life. I talked about the power of words, and in particular, how negative self-talk can hold you back and disconnect you from the intuitive wisdom of your higher self.

We Fall Down -- But We Get Up
When I first heard Donnie McClurkin's song, "We Fall Down (But We Get Up), I got goosebumps. The second time I heard it I loved it even more. There is a Gospel House remix of the song that is simply off the hook.
Anam Cara - Discovering Your Being
The more that "little me" allows surrender the more is done. What is done is "good." This, I know, seems a value judgement. It might be better to say that "what is done is joy." No resistance. No getting in the way. No concern for results. Simply trusting what will be will be. This free flow of feeling energy is the experience of joy.
Anger in Your Energy Field
Many consider anger a normal human emotion and continue to allow themselves to be seduced by it. I suppose another way of saying that, although it's not my preference, is that many are "addicted" to anger and "think" that it is of some use in their lives.
?Im Not A Christian, But I Play One On Sunday

Going Where Youve Never Gone Before
One of the first issues people on the spiritual path have to address is a doctrinal one: Is it wrong to ask questions that I've never asked before? Is asking questions about the truth we've been taught "sinful?" Your answer can have a dramatic effect on your ability to explore who you are and what you believe in without guilt!

Astrology & The Bible: Age of Aquarius
The normal Aquarian preoccupation with rational science is clearly seen in the way that our civilization is becoming increasingly based on, and dominated by science and technology. However, the keyword of Aquarius is 'humanity' and it is to be hoped that this quality will modify the present over emphasis on science, harnessing it more to the actual needs of man, than simply to what is technically possible. The moderating influence of Aquarius' polarity with Leo will also be needed to avert the dangers of revolution, and reinforce the growing concern for peace.
Where Do You Cast?
"Cast all your anxiety on Him for He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7.
Here To Stay
I am disturbed by the tendency of some people to view Christianity as a trend rather than a way of life. Some take it to the next level and try to make it some sort of a secret club. If you doubt me, just look at the reaction to the 2004 election results. It didn't take the media long to start harping on how "Evangelical Christians" turned the tide and were trying to establish their morality through politics. Pretty soon, newspapers and magazines were filled with angry diatribes of how we had no right to push our beliefs on them, and how we are trying to establish a "wacky theocracy." The only thing more disturbing than this are the people that pick and choose popular aspects of the faith that they believe promise a quick, miracle cure for their problems. They will accept good things like peace, grace, and salvation, but ignore the difficult things like patience, obedience, and sacrifice. The first time they have to wait or give up something, they're out of the game.
