Ill Put My Money On The Kid!
Now, the Fun Part. It is nigh time to find a way to take all the buck out of this bucking bronco we call the internet. I mean take all the gamble out of it!! This bronco is waiting to hand over to you all the true riches of life.........and obtain whatever you want... money, health, love, recognition, prestige. But, you gotta know something critical!
You have put up the snazziest looking website this side of heaven; you have suffered through all the expenses of designing the site; finding a hosting company; selecting the slickest domain name that any dot com company on the internet would be proud of. And what's happening? CROWDS of people are not showing up to your website.
That's a Problem! What's the Solution?
You may not realize this, but, very little separates you from the success you desire. A whole lot less than what you think. Most of the people, who have achieved greatness, did so not because they had a head full of smarts, but because they found the inner power within them to go for the gusto. And, the same spot at the top of the ladder is waiting for you too.
You want to know why? Because there is ALWAYS room at the top. Too many people don't want to go there. They are satisfied to stay right where they're at.
Ask yourself this question. How successful are you right now? Don't answer that. No, I'm kidding. I guarantee you, whatever level of success you have achieved so far is more tied to your attitude than your aptitude. Success on the internet or any other playing field can be narrowed down to a systematic formula that never fails.
Desire is the Beginning!
Listen, there is magic in desire. There is hope, there is fire, and it's the fuel that drives us human beings to achieve greatness.
Let me give you a story to make a point. This is cute. During the depression of the 1930's there were a lot of families starving. No, that's not cute, just hang with me. And in a very busy city there was a little kid who wanted to make some money to help his family.
He decided to sell home grown tomatoes on a busy street corner but he was continually run off by bigger kids who threatened to make his head into a tomato. Dejected he walked away every day until one day he decided to take his tomatoes into a very busy restaurant. He walked up to the first table and sold 2 tomatoes.
Then a customer at a 2nd table saw what he had and he bought two. Then the owner of the restaurant came over and ushered him out. Well, he watched through the window until the owner was out of sight and he went back in and sold 5 more tomatoes at two other tables. Then the owner ushered him out again. But, he had already sold 9 tomatoes.
He watched again and at the right time walked back in the restaurant and started selling again. The customers really liked his gumption and started laughing; they were really enjoying the show. And, one of the customers said to the owner, "leave the kid alone". And within five more minutes he had sold all his tomatoes.
The next day the little boy went back to the same restaurant and the owner ushered him out again. He went back in again and everyone laughed and the owner threw up his hands and said what's the use.
Did you sense the DESIRE in this kid? Did you feel a sense of rejection? Were you waiting for the kid to kick the owner in the shins and run for his life? When I first heard it I was. :>) But, I was a rotten and mischievous little kid anyway myself. Would YOU have kept going back inside? Ah!... now I bet we hit a nerve. Now, analyze what this kid did. It was the depression, his family needed money. And he hated the taste of tomatoes. Nah.......I just made that up, that's not true. But, I bet he was sick of eating tomato sandwiches though. Needless to say, this was all the motivation he needed to move him to action. Over and over.
Next, he discovered a technique. By walking back into the restaurant numerous times he discovered a method that allowed him to sell tomatoes in restaurants everyday. In learning this method he gained knowledge and inspiration. He learned what to say and how to say it. The more he sold the more motivation it gave him.
Now think about this. This little kid became successful at selling tomatoes. And, he didn't have the internet to help him. Why? Because the internet is NOT one of the 3 key ingredients to success. You already know Desire is the number one, and you will find out what number 2 and 3 are in later articles. Pretty sneaky huh?'
When You Start Something......Don't Stop Till You Get It!!
When you don't get what you expect...........inspect what you got!. So, what do you do when everything goes wrong? What do you do when there is no place to turn? What do you do when every gremlin in West Texas is chasing you with a big stick? What do you do when all the spammers in Outer Mongolia are bombarding your inbox so that it looks like Buddha's Belly?
I'll tell you what to do. You do just like that little kid did and look for the right time to go right back in that store and sell another tomato. But understand, you won't go back in that store until you become dissatisfied with what you GOT!
And when you don't get what you expect, and you inspect what you got, and what you got is not what you want, then you're in a prime position for the fire of desire to burn a trail of dissatisfaction in you a mile wide and a yard deep. And,...... If it doesn't........ Then just go rub Buddha's Belly. Nah....., I'm kidding. Don't you get mad at me.
When the fire of desire becomes so ingrained in you that it forms without you realizing it, then you will not have arrived, but you'll be well on your way.

Employee Motivation - The 8 Basics
Building a team of motivated people in your business is vital to get the very best results, but so many managers focus on the 'ra-ra-ra', rather than the important things - the things that make people feel comfortable in their working environment. Here are eight that you might want to have a think about: The WeatherIs it too hot, or too cold. Your people need an environment which is, like Goldilocks said, 'Just right'. So is the office too stuffy in summer? Or too icy in winter? Is it draughty? Do people get wet when accepting deliveries, because the outside roof leaks? Literally make sure that external factors are as they wish. The BreaksSometimes working in a day-to-day job can get boring and exhausting. So people need to know when their breaks are and that they wil be able to take them - it's not that complicated. Yet often, they just aren't able to have this basic courtesy in place. Planning and caring for your people's needs is vital. It's what you would want for yourself, isn't it? HolidaysAnd vacations/holidays are important too - some would say it's the most important thing on the working year calendar. So enable this to happen, when they need to know, so that they can plan their invaluable time away from the business and refresh. Being HeardYou people need you to listen to then and hear them - really hear what they are saying and respond with action and/or acknowledgement. Be out there creating good, open relationships with your people and take in what they say - what's important to them - and deliver solutions to make conditions great. Achievable GoalsBy being really, really clear about what you expect from your employees, you will set the scene for committed staff. Through knowing exactly what their performance should look like to be judged excellent, by you, gets buy-in, big-time. So be clear, give them the resources to achieve success and they will be well onside. Being ThankedAs they do a good job for you each day - tell them. It's easy - just say 'Thank You'! Appreciation for achieving success, especially when it's from the boss is so important. So recognising excellent performance, even for small tasks, cost nothing and takes but a moment - worth building into your day job activities - every day! ChallengePeople like to do new things, to explore, to seek out and utilise their potential, Sometimes this means they will have to be 'stretched' in what they do. With a helping hand, to support, coach and grow the skills of your people, you are setting in place a keen, ambitious and ready-for-the-next-experience star in the making. So find new ways to develop them. SecurityIn today's business climate, it isn't always easy to build the best future consistently - things change too much, too quickly. But you can go some way to ensure that it is a safe place to be. With this level of security, your people will loosen up and feel capable of being with you, rather than against. It is a measure of your own leadership as to how well this works. These are basics for your people - get these right and you will be 85% there, in having motivated people working with you. Then you can turn on the charm, get radical and creative and find them right there alongside you (in front even!). Focused on building your business strongly.
One of my greatest loves as a kid was fishing. This love developed quickly because my family owned a little bait shop that was located near Toledo Bend Lake in Louisiana. Toledo Bend is well known for its large bass and large quantity of crappies.

The IDEAL Problem Solver is an effective tool you can use to attack your problems. If you are used to getting on your horse and riding in all directions when faced with a problem, you may find the IDEAL Problem Solver quite handy. How do you use it?
Succeed Like the Super-Successful
Two undeniable traits of the super-successful are: their belief in self, and an uncompromising expectation that they will succeed ... no matter what. Their dreams and goals are real. So real, these individuals stay inspired despite any and all obstacles before them. The super-successful distinguish themselves by believing and doing differently from everyone else. They sustain an attitude of fervent expectancy and have a relentless passion for success. These two components fuel their entire belief system. So, just what is the belief system of the super-successful? It's as simple premise: "My goals are well on their way to being achieved. It's a "done-deal!"
The First Step for Getting Better Results
How dramatically we can change our results is largely a function of imagination. In 1960, it was a technological impossibility for man to travel into outer space. Within ten years, however, the first man stepped out onto the surface of the moon. The miraculous process of converting the dream into reality began when one voice challenged the scientific community to do whatever was necessary to see to it that America "places a man on the moon by the end of this decade."
Staying the Course
Are you willing to stay the course? Once you have decided on a course and set sail toward your destination, you will undoubtedly face moments along your journey, perhaps even long stretches, where it seems that you are not making progress toward your goal even though you are doing the things necessary to reach it. We've all heard the saying "it's darkest before the dawn" and it's often true that we are on the verge of great success when it is most difficult to see the light at the end of the tunnel.

The New Morality
In a world where dynamism alters egos and principles in a man every second, where men divest in tenets that secure them from being devout to something natural, where humanity seeks reasons to be ignorant just to feel sly and intelligent ? we're confronted with issues of morality. We can no longer be satisfied with being truthful incessantly, we can no longer be happy for the sake of empathizing, we can no longer be sympathetic in a world that beseeches us to be methodological, we can no longer be human when the invariable pretension has made us lose our ethicality forever ? we can only choose to be different moralists altogether. Succinctly ? we need a new morality.
