Who Should Win The OscarGraham and Julie Who, do you think, should win the Oscar this year Who has been the best male actor in film this year Should it be Don Cheadle, in Hotel Rwanda, Johnny Depp in Finding Neverland, Leonardo DiCaprio in The Aviator, Clint Eastwood in Million Dollar Baby or Jamie Foxx in Ray. What about Leading female Actress Who gets your vote Annette Bening in Being Julie, Catalina Sandino Moreno in Maria Full of Grace, Imelda Staunton in Vera Drake, Hilary Swank in Million Dollar Baby or Kate Winslet in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. How about you Have you given an outstanding performance during 2004 Did you created a breath-taking, unforgettable performance during the past year to get a nomination for the Life Performance Oscar When you accept that your role in your life is to give the best performance you can. To be you. To focus on your natural talents and your relationship with others will improve. Then others will nominate you for a Life Performance Oscar. So how has 2004 been for you Did you really touch your potential Or did you accept second best When faced with all the other actors on the world stage, did you fall into the trap of:
When you accept your role as an actor on the world stage then you have no one to compete with but yourself. When you accept that you are an unique individual, with your own skills and abilities, there is no need to compete with anyone. You just need to evolve your uniqueness. You, after all, have something important and great to give the world so why try and be like someone else. Why try to mimic their role In a film or a play each actor concentrates on delivering their role to be the best of their ability. Life is no different. To ensure you have a successful life all you need to do is concentrate on your role and deliver, to the best of your ability. To be a great person you just need to produce a great performance. You have the skills and knowledge all you need is the courage to deliver. When you go for it, you will be successful and, who knows, maybe next year, you will be nominated for the Oscar in Life performance. Good Luck. Graham and Julie

When pitching a film idea, many believe if you cant do it in one sentence it is an unmarketable product. For example Planet Of the Apes 1968 starring Charlton Heston was pitched by producer Arthur Jacobs as "Moses Talks To Monkeys". Passenger 57 1992 with Wesley Snipes was known as "Diehard On a Plane." Director James Cameron, despite a strong track record with films like Aliens 1986 and True Lies 1994 knew he would have a tough selling job after he went deep sea diving with Dr. Robert Ballard to glimpse the remains of the RMS Titanic. He became so emotionally involved by the experience that the sinking of the famous luxury liner in 1912 had to be the subject of his next picture. His pitch to the nervous executives at Twentieth Century Fox was," Romeo and Juliet on a doomed ship." There was a tense pause and Cameron said," Also fellas its a period piece, its going to cost $150,000,000 and theres not going to be a sequel." Fox, a studio which had known great success with both The Love Boat 1977-1986 TV show and The Poseidon Adventure 1972 was dubious about the ideas commercial prospects. But wanting a long term relationship with Cameron they gave him a green light. Silent Macau A failed or neglected city springs to mind when walking around Macau during the day time. Around the outskirts of the Islands the doors of modern buildings never seem to open. Hotel restaurants tend to sole customers with reluctance: public gardens remain empty except for the lone tramp rooting around in the bins, roads remain unsullied with tyre tracks and the silence is loud all around. Inside and up the hill cracked and uneven pathways run along to meet the next, weeds compliment the falling cement on graying walls. Unpainted fences balance precariously around crazy paved basketball pitches whilst graffiti gives color to an otherwise drab setting. Turbulence or Smooth Ride You Decide. Why is it that 2 people can use the same airport, the same airline and even be on the exact same flight, and have 2 totally different stories about their trip All Inclusive Resort Bulletin Boards For those considering an all inclusive resort vacation the need for information, pictures and trip reports is urgent. All inclusive resort vacations typically run $4000-$7000 for a weeks stay at an all inclusive resort. Because of the higher upfront cost travelers needing information would prefer to get it from people who have been to the resorts vs. the resort themselves. Resort websites and brochures usually contain staged photos which have been airbrushed to perfection. Maps are not always to scale and the facts about features and quality of the resort are usually subjective. Below are links and descriptions for bulletin boards that discuss all inclusive resorts. The members are always willing to answer questions and provide pictures and information. I Survived the Booze and Cruise: A Guide to Past Tense Instructions in the Bahamas The only souvenir I still have from the Bahamas is an old “I survived the Booze and Cruise” t-shirt...and a few snorkeling rules forever etched in my memory. Back in college as if I needed to say more, my boyfriend, his best friend, and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas. We, of course, did all the necessary research to know the attractions we wanted to see and have some familiarity with local customs...Yeah, right. We knew nothing and cared even less. We were going to the Bahamas on a cruise ship for about $200 a person! It was a deal where we had to listen to their time-share nonsense, but we were college students. We were pros at listening for hours on end about topics we had little to no interest in.
