Visual Limits of the Human Brain Processing Speed
Visual limits of the human brain and the visual processing time is quite evident. This why animals have camouflage skin, humans get headaches at trade shows and why video or game players will be the fighter pilots of the future.
There are many theories and why this is, one good paper on the subject is; modeling visual latencies, masking and synchronization: by G. Bugmann and J. G. Taylor. Some other questions that one would have in reviewing such data would be whether the problem occurs at the eye or within the brain. Or is there a problem with the communication between the two or is there so much information involved in interpreting the data while the eye is focusing on the objects definition and determining it's distance, size, shape, weight, etc. that the brain is working very quickly using previous experience and historical data from memory to put together the pieces while simultaneously it registers the thought? And when you consider all this data coming in and being processed it is actually a wonder the brain can process it all this fast anyway? It has been said that the brain spends up to 45% of its random access memory in the visual section of the brain. For the brain to work faster than it does with the visual information you might need a better or different type of vision.
Perhaps a system which takes objects of little importance and simply makes them less defined (augmented reality) and those of more importance will then get the required scrutiny freeing up the RAM in the brain so there is less information to process, meaning some of the work that is being done, is eliminated since it is not important, this would also allow for additional free space for thinking about what one does with the rest of the information. Also meaning quicker response time from brain to muscle to action. This could be tested very easily in Virtual Reality, where the environment is artificial and certain objects were made to be gray scale, while the game player would learn that those gray scales contain information of no importance so as to not focus on them. Then once the person was proficient at whatever task was being performed in the VR, they could put on a set of sunglasses, which also blocked out the unimportant information in the real world. At this point the individual with new training and wearing such a device and I use sun glasses only because there is no such device other than the HUD systems used in aerospace or the new military gear to be used in future wars battlespaces in the net-centric fusionary world of blue force-red force tracking.
Once the participant is ready to take on the real world with the new eye assisted gear, the over all field of vision could be increased to include 360 degree information, without over taxing the brain. It would only be a matter of getting use to the thought of having eyes in the back of your head, like your third grade teacher, who always know when you were up to something. With the proper attachments you would be super human in both the real world and the Virtual Reality World. Of course you would need to practice using these devices because seeing behind you is not a human characteristic. So our evolutionary process did not develop in such a way as to account for this. Yet with the freed up allocated space in the brain used for processing the visual data, you should be able to more than compensate for the new skill and increased unusual data set.
It would certainly be interesting if some sports were played with surround a sound vision, such as a basketball game, soccer, Tour de France, Hockey, etc. Since mankind has been at the top of the food chain for a while, the eyes facing forward like other species of hunters is not unique. If mankind was a prey species then we would be much more apt to be constantly looking over our shoulder and probably have evolved in such a way as to have our eyes on the far edges of our skull to see behind us too. Since the eyes focus and cross in front of us, we see the worked differently and have additional abilities to judge distance, even though one could argue if they had ever been rear ended by an oriental member of our species at an intersection or on the highway? Although that is not very PC, no one can deny it is not totally apropos, true and somewhat funny. Think about it.

Remote Control Bacteria; We Can Not Allow That.
Remote Control Bacteria. Why not, we have remote control everything. Controlling RNA, DNA, Proteins and enzymes. By turning on and off the Riboswitches:
The Ecology of Environmentalism
The concept of "nature" is a romantic invention. It was spun by the likes of Jean-Jacques Rousseau in the 18th century as a confabulated utopian contrast to the dystopia of urbanization and materialism. The traces of this dewy-eyed conception of the "savage" and his unmolested, unadulterated surroundings can be found in the more malignant forms of fundamentalist environmentalism.
Building a Single Unit CO2 Laser Grid
When using a CO2 Laser to shoot down an incoming projectile, which enters a safety zone, it will be necessary to hold the laser on the target for about 5 seconds or more. To do this we must be able to shoot the laser in a grid, therefore if the projectile or aircraft or guided missile or even a UAV takes evasive action such as a high- speed high "G" 90 degree turn you can still register a kill on the target. Because, whichever direction it turns it will still be well within the grid and the grid can re-direct to center the target within the grid until the 3000 plus degrees of the laser destroy it.

Bees Wax; History and Origin
We have often been asked where wax comes from? Well there are many types of Waxes. Bees wax has been around for a while. There are many mentions of beeswax in historic writing such as the myth where Icarus son of Daedalus put on wings of wax and as he flew too close to the sun, it melted and Icarus fell to his death. The father with more experience flew closer to the ground and made it to Italy. In Roman times Pliny, lived from 23 AD to 79 AD and described white bees wax which he got by boiling yellow bees wax in salt water. This was then used in broth and feed to those with dysentery, it was also used as a skin softener.
Hibernating Humans for Space Flight
Can we hibernate humans using hydrogen sulfide gas for long-term space flight? The answer is most likely; "YES". Scientists have successfully hibernated mice spontaneously using hydrogen sulfide gas. The next step for let's say NASA using this data would be to take some mice up on the next space shuttle launch and hibernate them in zero gravity. Theoretically it should be possible and will most likely work. If we can put many mice on the ISS, International Space Station, under varying lengths of hibernation then we can prove concept. This maybe an ideal way to hibernate humans for long-term space-travel to distant stars, for instance to Alpha Centari and back.
Active Aerial Minefields
Is it possible to build an active aerial minefield to protect our troops and in-country logistical supply lines? The answer is probably yes. The Germans attempted to use hot air balloons with charges on them. It did not work. However today we have many newer technologies that if put together it might be possible to actually build an active aerial mine field. For instance what about a "Metal Storm" with lightweight munitions inside hanging from Balloons.
A Case for Human Machine Visual Interface
Animation of personified reality is intriguing, memorable and interesting as well. Perhaps we ought to remember this when letting kids watch cartoons of attacking counter parts? Or maybe this is a good way to help them better understand the Machiavellian characteristics of the species before they enter the real world, where everything is not so warm and fuzzy.
Para Trooper Gliders With Angle of Attack Motor or Crank
Para Trooper Gliders were very popular in WW II, they were used by both the Axis and Allied Forces. Some of these gliders were huge in size and the Germans had one which had took three bombers to get it off the ground along with two-four rockets used in take off. I believe there is a Wings Discovery Channel Documentary on this. The allied forces also used such tactics, which are well documented and some links are provided as well as pictures below this topic.
Mars Surface Exploration and AFF
As we study more and more about Mars we know there is life. Unfortunately in many regions of the planet it is not so evident. There is evidence of past water in abundance and perhaps some ground water under the surface; this is where we will find life. I propose using some Earth based technologies, which are over a decade old to map mars at a much more personal level. I propose using satellites and Automated Satellite Following Systems, which will control the paths of five or more UAVs in a swarm and grid pattern.
Pandemic Crisis Cure Concept
What happens if the world is faced with a Pandemic, for which no cure currently exists but one is on the verge of being discovered? Here is a concept, which with the proper protocols could save the human race from near extinction. Human Hibernation. Put as many of the Pandemic victims to sleep as possible before they succumb to the virus or pathogen. Then isolate a team of scientists to figure out a cure. Once the cure is discovered inoculate the scientific team and have them go around to wake everyone up. Wake up the largest groups first and train them with videos how to inoculate the all those people that there is enough vaccine for.

God Created Man, 5000 years ago?
Well it is written that God created man 5000 years ago, there can be no doubt about it. The Holy scripture guarantees that is in fact how it exactly happened? Oh really? So how do you explain the fossil record, life on mars and dinosaur bones? Oh, you cannot explain that? I see, but you still wish to debate the works in the various religions and completely factual and to be followed literally then? Hmm? Okay, then I have a book that, I personally recommend that you do not read:

Well, here is a most interesting thought. There are many who have heart murmurs from birth and many with heart murmurs, which are not negative from a health standpoint.
Issues with Aerial Fire Fighting
A few years ago I visited the Wyoming Contractor, which used WWII aircraft to fight such fires. I was amazed that such old aircraft were not in museums but rather in flying condition and used for dropping phoschek on fires. Nicknamed the "Borate Bombers" after the old material, which for years we used to drop on fires from the air. It was very red, highly toxic to plant life but certainly would do it's job when put on top of a fire or in the path of one.
MP Apprehension of High Strung or Drunken Soldiers
Recently scientists have discovered the hydrogen sulfide gas caused mice to go into spontaneous hibernation. The genetic similarities to the mammalian class humans belong to includes these rodents as well. The ability to put humans into spontaneous hibernation has incredible military applications, most of which have to do with stopping an advancing army, simply put them to sleep and thus serve your political will without having to kill them. Indeed this would change the battle space of the future in a way no one probably ever considered.
Will Clones Run the World?
In the US it appears that we have decided that "life is not for sale" and that the cloning debate is over and our scientists are forbidden by law from attempting to clone humans. In other countries they are currently trying and will most likely continue to try until they get it right. Will those countries which move forward in human cloning be able to force their will on free markets and rise to power faster since they will have the abilities of entangled brains and abilities of basic thought transfer? Such skills will be quite an advantage indeed. Will such countries have stronger corporations and create wealth faster than our corporations? Will the multi-national conglomeration corporations of the World continue to be so large it will not be significant until way into the future? Will more countries become run completely by super dynasty clone families, will they run the world?
