Change Your Attitude, Change Your Life - Books to Help You Find the PMA Inside You
Many of the books on this page were inspired by the late great Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, God rest his soul, who encouraged us all to have a PMA every day!
Failing Forward John C. Maxwell
Dr. Maxwell does it again with a FANTASTIC novel about failing, or rather, what we can learn from not succeeding. I agree 100% with Maxwell when he says "Failure is simply the price we pay to achieve success." Put another way, you miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Try something new, and you may not succeed the first time. SO WHAT! Try again, learn from your mistakes, and soon you will succeed!
Remember the story of the glass, and the optimist and the pessimist? Optimist sees it as half full, pessimist sees it half empty. Which is correct? Both and neither. No matter what, it's just half a glass of water. The key is how you deal with it. This book taught me that about failure, and I think it could teach you that, and more! Pick it up today.
As a Man Thinketh James Allen
James Allen's website has many great resources and newsletters. The book As A Man Thinketh is free to download from here and the rest of the articles are excellent as well.
Think and Grow Rich Napoleon Hill
An all-time favorite of mine. Written in what seems like pre-historic times (the early 20th century) but still applicable today. Worth the read if you haven't already had the chance, or a re-read if it's been a while.
Attitude is Everything Keith Harrell
This book is GREAT! I liked it so much, I even bought Keith's "Attitude Cards," available on his website. Keith was a guy who didn't quite make it to the NBA, so he worked at IBM and learned that a good attitude is the most crucial component for one's success. Great tips on how to get, and keep, a great attitude.
Fred Factor Mark Sanborn
Be a Fred! Have a positive attitude! Just gotta do it, and gotta love the way Mark puts it out there, especially with his "Fred" being a postal carrier. If someone from the USPS can be a positive role model and warrant a book, SO CAN YOU! It all starts with YOUR attitude! You can make a difference!
Phil Gerbyshak leads a team of IT help desk professionals in Milwaukee, WI, and finds that sharing his knowledge is a crucial component in his success as a leader and as a person. Phil's personal philosophy is paraphrased from Tim Sanders' fantastic book Love is the Killer App: "Share your knowledge, your network, and your love. The rest will follow." Beginners Programming 101
Recently a great idea popped into my head about creating a software program. Now, if the truth be told, I know absolutely nothing about computer programming. Why Should You Forgive?
When I teach private Yoga sessions, sometimes, I become aware that a client has issues that cause anxiety, depression, and a negative outlook on life. This often causes difficulty for the student when trying to practice a stage-by-stage relaxation, and especially during meditation sessions.
Management of the Almighty Anger
Apart form the Emotions and the attitude, Anger is a quite unsolved thing. we become angry when things are not according to us or not as we want, or not up to our expectation. We just simply becomes angry to satisfy & gratify our ego, super ego and false ego.
Turning Fear Into Power
How would your life shift if you moved into what you feared not away from it, if you moved into the future with controlled abandon ?think about it! One of the things I know from working with people for close to two decades and from my own development is that ? things change. And yet how many people say they hate change. If change is inevitable in growth and you hate change you have a bad equation for a good life.

Use Your Imagination to Create the Self You Want
"Every prayer - every thought, every statement, every feeling -is creative. To the degree that it is fervently held as truth, to that degree will it be made manifest in your experience."
Impact of Positive and Negative Catalysts on Events in Human Lives
Have you ever noticed what can happen if you just met a friend in the street and shared a cab? You are both in the cab, all is fine, you plan to attend a social function and suddenly your cab gets involved in an accident. The police comes and you are a witness in an unforeseen event. Per chance? Not quite. There might be an explanation. All people have vibrations emanating from their bodies. Some people have much stronger vibrations than others (as evident in the human aura) while others have energies very focused at a certain point in the human system (physical, mental or spiritual) and of greater strength than most. Such people are instrumental in attracting to themselves events of a positive or negative nature. As in the case of an earthquake that has an epicenter. I term such people as catalysts because that's what they are.
